Utilizing his skill in fiber manipulation, Feather aims brings the voice of others that are not so often heard; by leveraging the white male artist’s elevated platform, all with the objective of educating and expanding the community. Through various collaborations, his work also serves as a platform for marginalized majorities in the contemporary art world. Feather is a sophomore Fibers major at the College for Creative Studies, a recipient of the Walter B. Ford full-tuition scholarship, and a graduate of New World School for the Arts in Miami, FL.
