This workshop will help artists understand how juried art fairs work – and what works to apply, be accepted, and participate. Understand why your booth shot could rule you out – or invite you in. Discover where to search for new art fairs – and where to learn what artists think of them. Build a schedule that works for you.
Includes questions to ask about a new event and signs that the fair is slipping in quality or more about booze or entertainment than artist-made gifts.
- Artist Amy Ferguson, whose work graced the 2017 Palmer Park Art Fair limited edition poster.
- Fiber artist and art fair juror Judy Sledge, who has been involved with art fairs for years.
- Mark Loeb, president of Integrity Shows, and curator of the Belle Isle Art Fair.
- Workshop led and moderated by Mint Artists’ Vickie Elmer, who has worked as a writer and editor for 20 years.
The workshop is only $25 and includes a free application fee to any Integrity Shows event ($25 value).
