UNDER THE SURFACE

Fine art photographer Myles Gallagher was born and raised in Detroit. He is inspired by the school of thought, “See the Unseen”. Therefore, he titled this solo exhibition “Under the Surface”, utilizing his method and philosophy of finding a relationship between chance and intention.
Exhibitions include: Ann Arbor Art Center; Down River Council for the Arts; Grosse Ile Historic Society; Grosse Point Art Center; Jules Maeght Gallery, San Francisco, CA; Lawrence Street Gallery, Ferndale, MI; Scarab Club Detroit, MI; Still Point Art Gallery Maine, River’s Edge Gallery, Wyandotte, MI, and BLICK, Midtown Detroit.
Myles graduated with BS from the College of Arts and Science at Western MI University: studies included Fine Art, Humanities, English and Dance. His work is in the collection of many individuals in the United States, as well as the permanent collection of the Lear Corporation. The winner of the Pattern/Texture category of Black & White magazine’s Single Image Contest, his work appeared in the magazine in December 2016.
