Call for Entry: 109th Gold Medal Exhibition & Annual Book

The Scarab Club invites submissions for its annual member exhibition and book. It is an unthemed, all media exhibition. Participation is open to all SC member artists in good standing who are 18 years or older.

JUROR
Grace Serra is the Art Collection Curator at Wayne State University and Exhibition Curator at the University of Michigan North Campus Research Complex. She has worked in the field of public arts for over thirty years, coordinating major art installations in the Detroit People Mover Stations, Detroit Receiving Hospital and Children’s Hospital of Michigan.

Serra has served as adjunct faculty at Henry Ford College, Macomb College, Eastern Michigan University and Wayne State University teaching visual arts, art history and arts administration courses. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Painting) from Wayne State University, Master of Arts (Painting) from Dominican University, in Florence, Italy and Master of Arts (Arts Administration) from Eastern Michigan University.

SC ANNUAL BOOK
All SC members who complete and pay for a submission to the 109th Gold Medal Exhibition, regardless of whether their work is accepted for the exhibition, will have an image of their work included in the Annual, a book published each year by the SC.
