For decades the Scarab Club has hosted an annual photography exhibition. It is an unthemed, juried exhibition, open to all artists, and including showcasing a wide range of contemporary photography, including experimental techniques, and video.

Joe Gall, based in Detroit, is an award-winning photographer, extreme sportsman, and travel addict. He has photographed thousands of bands, artists, athletes and personalities spanning the cultural spectrum of architecture, sports, fashion, music, outdoors, and the entertainment industry. Clients include Red Bull, Adidas, AEG Live, Rolling Stone, Hour Magazine, General Motors, Ford Motor Company, and The Tony Hawk Foundation.
