REGISTER FOR THE SC PLEIN AIR CHALLENGE

In 2017 the Scarab Club hosted Plein Air Challenge--its first plein air exhibition. More than 50 artists signed up to accept the challenge to paint or draw an original work of art between the hours of 8 am and 3 pm. When the artists returned their work, it was installed in the lounge. It was a great community effort, and wonderful to see easels set up throughout the city with artists painting landscapes and cityscapes. Due to the great response, we have made it an annual event.

The Scarab Club invites artists to participate in its 2022 Plein Air Challenge exhibition. The exhibition will showcase work painted between the hours of 8 am and 3 pm on Sunday, August 28th.
